Our Approaches

Abnaa Saida Association (ASA) seeks to organize its mechanisms and methods of work and implement activities and projects according to multiple approaches to achieve its goals and vision. These approaches include:

Advocacy

The aim of this approach is:

Lobbying and mobilizing for a particular social or economic issue to create partial societal change in the process of macro-societal change, and influencing decision-makers to involve citizens and all components of society in the decision-making process.

Peer Education

It is an approach or method followed by the association. Through the empowerment of children and young people, it aims to raise awareness among participants to support and encourage them to raise awareness, participate, impart information, and develop leadership life skills to enable them to be pioneers of societal change in their environments.

This approach is applied through the tools of:

Dialogue and discussion, interactive games and activities, outreach and media materials, advocacy campaigns

Social Norms

Through this approach, we aim to understand and change the norms, rules, and expectations that govern the behavior of individuals and groups in society, and we base them on joint participation, dialogue, and learning among all stakeholders in the cause, to achieve positive and sustainable social change.

Arts & Cultural Exchange

It is an approach that uses arts as a means of expressing identity, values, feelings, and ideas, and as a tool for dialogue, understanding, and cooperation among different cultures. Through this approach, we aim to create safe spaces for expression and convergence to promote human rights, artistic freedom, and multiculturalism, and to achieve sustainable development and peace through culture and creativity.

Active Learning

The active learning approach is a set of teaching methods that focus on engaging the learner or student in the learning process and encouraging them to think, interact, and change. This approach aims to develop learners' skills, creativity, and collaboration abilities, and develop their personality.

Networking & Cooperation

This approach contributes to activating the role of civil society in developmental decision-making and improving the skills and capacities of civil-based organizations. Through it, we seek to alliance with non-governmental organizations or individuals interested in issues of development and civic participation. This approach aims to enhance capacities and resources and achieve common goals and public interests. The networking and cooperation approach uses various strategies, such as sharing experiences and information, joint action in the service and development of society, and advocacy and influence on decision-makers.
