Community initiatives in Saida on gender equality

Five Initiatives were implemented by the youth groups formed by the association, where the initiatives aimed to raise awareness about the importance of gender equality, especially concerning sharing household chores and positive parenting. Trained youth also worked to sensitize young men and women about the law criminalizing harassers and electronic harassment, and promoting women’s role in society. The initiatives targeted young men and women from the Sidonian community.
