Forming Youth Groups
The association worked to form youth groups, empower them, and increase their awareness of gender concepts, the importance of gender equality, and how to write and plan a small initiative. The association trained 61 young people divided into three youth groups and assisted them in implementing an initiative to raise the community's awareness of gender issues and equality.
The training influenced the mentality of some of the participants through their acceptance of the participation of their sisters' girls in the initiatives and activities carried out by the association. The youth became able to support their mothers and sisters while sharing the household responsibilities and chores with them, in addition to their ability to write or present an idea for an initiative and how to implement and lead it.
