The Play “No, It's Not A Shame”
An awareness-raising play that sheds light on sensitive topics and concepts that are considered taboo in society and are categorized as “shameful”, such as issues related to sexual and reproductive health, sexually transmitted diseases such as HIV, youth drug addiction, the way society deals with these individuals, stigma, and discrimination against them.
The play also touched on the role of education and socialization in the upbringing of children, violence against women, and the importance of having a supportive partner.
The play was followed by a discussion with the audience about the importance of bringing up these topics and shedding light on them. Many of the audience commended the importance of the topics’ presentation and the template.
