Youth Initiatives - Strive (Kafihi)

An initiative that sheds light on gender discrimination and its effects resulting from the prevailing stereotypical roles in society to raise awareness and reduce the prevalence of gender-based forms of discrimination, and to change stereotypical roles in society while embracing and consolidating the importance of gender equality.

40 youth were recruited to learn about the forms of discrimination against women through an exhibition of paintings that reflect violence against women, in addition to a video that simulates the story of a young woman in a society that discriminates against girls and gives privileges and rights to men, thus creating a significant male-female rift.
